Our Love Story

They say you find love when you least expect it, and that couldn't be more true for us.

2016

We became friends first, spending time together at work and getting to know each other

But as time went on, it became harder and harder to ignore what was growing between us.

2015

As friends we took a trip to Glenwood Springs, where we discovered our shared love for adventure.

Dez finally admitted she had feelings, and it didn't take long for Derek to admit he felt the same!

Between the endless ocean views, new destinations, we realized this was a special relationship

We've filled our lives with spontaneous trips, new experiences, and plenty of laughter.

2025

We enjoy golfing together, although Derek usually has to convince Dez even if she played in college

Our greatest adventure came during a cruise through the Panama Canal

We are having dinner at Seaside. It is semi-private with a set menu.

We head over to the Sunrise Ballroom, where we will dance, party, cake, and enjoy a fun evening.

Unlimited food, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), room service, pool and beach access, daily activities, entertainment, and gratuities are usually included.

Optional expenses like spa treatments, excursions, gift shop purchases, or premium wine and spirits are not included in the base package.

No — all events are covered by us. Any optional group excursions or off-site activities would come at an extra cost.

You’ll receive a link or instructions from the couple’s travel coordinator. Booking through the wedding group ensures you get the correct rates, perks, and are counted as part of the wedding party.

A valid passport is required for international travel. Some countries may also require a tourist card or visa, which is usually simple to obtain. Details will be shared with you in advance.

No, however, they will charge you a day pass to access the resort.

We're so excited to celebrate with you! Feel free to arrive and depart whenever fits your travel plans. This is your vacation, too. We simply ask that you be at the resort on September 26th to celebrate our wedding with us.
