Thinking about getting hitched at Breathless Montego Bay Resort & Spa?
I’ve been recommending this one to couples for years, and it’s one of the liveliest, most fun adults-only resorts in Jamaica.
But “lively” cuts both ways, and I’d rather you know exactly what you’re getting into before you book.
Here’s the cost, the venues, and the stuff I always mention to my couples.
Breathless Montego Bay Resort & Spa is a tropical paradise that doesn’t mess around when it comes to delivering a seriously good time!
And this is the resort I recommend when a couple tells me they want their wedding weekend to feel like a party.
First off, the views are like something out of a postcard – turquoise waters, pristine beaches, lush gardens, the whole shebang.
The resort itself is a sleek and modern escape, with stylish suites that make you feel like you’re living the high life.
Prepare your taste buds for a world tour, because the dining options here are diverse and delicious.
And did I mention the bars? They whip up creative cocktails that taste like vacation in a glass!
If you and your guests are into activities, they’ve got you covered.
Whether you want to lounge by the pool, enjoy water sports, indulge in a spa massage, or dance the night away, the resort won’t disappoint you.
Basically, I feel like Breathless Montego Bay is not just a resort; it’s an experience.
Whether you’re here for a wedding, a romantic getaway, a wild adventure, or just to soak up the sun, this place ticks all the boxes for a damn good time.
A wedding here runs from $1,499 up to roughly $13,000, with pricing that shifts by the month and day of your ceremony.
I think this is a fairer way to price than a flat rate.
Because a Tuesday in September costs the resort less to host than a Saturday in February.
They’ve got 4 wedding packages for you to choose from.
The 4 wedding packages include:
- Wedding in Paradise – possibly free, or $1,499 – $1,749 for 10 guests
- Elope In Style – $1,599 – $1,899 for you two
- Eternal Love – $4,849 – $5,649 for 20 guests
- Beyond Memorable – $11,499 – $13,349 for 79 guests
A couple of things I always mention to my couples:
- Once your wedding is confirmed, canceling within 6 months of the date carries a $250 fee.
- All weddings, regardless of size, need to be booked at least 30 days in advance.
None of this is unusual for the industry, but it’s the kind of detail you should factor into your timeline.
Eternal Love Package:
My couples love the Eternal Love package.
For its price, it surprisingly includes a whole lot of amenities.
For $4,849, you get:
- Service of judge or minister.
- Semi-private rehearsal dinner for 10 people max.
- Wedding organization and personal touch of on-site wedding coordinator.
- Bouquet(s) and/or boutonniere(s) for wedding couple.
- Sound system with 1 speaker and 1 microphone.
- Ceremony décor.
- Wedding cake and sparkling wine.
- Private cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres.
- Private dinner reception.
- 50 full color printed photos taken during the ceremony and wedding album.
- Edited video of ceremony.
- And so much more!

Yup, choosing 1 single venue at this resort is tough; all the venues are breathtaking!
Whether you want a beachside ceremony, reception or a party, this location’s the one for you.

4. Beach Front Casita
This wedding venue’s where golden sands meet endless possibilities.
You can get married with the backdrop of sun-kissed shores and azure skies.

5. Breathless Beach Club
Imagine your wedding day at this beach club – relaxed vibes, endless booze, and décor that’s as per your liking.
It’s like throwing a party in your own little corner of the coast.

6. The Grand Ballroom
With its classic charm and ample room to customize, this ballroom sets the stage for a wedding that’s both classy and ready to rock!

This beachside lawn is open, relaxed, and effortlessly elegant.

Unfortunately, Jamaica doesn’t allow LGBTQ+ weddings.

For the wedding couple, I recommend the Allure Junior Suite Ocean View.
The Allure Junior Suite Ocean View features floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open onto a balcony with its own hot tub.
And the in-suite tablet controls curtains and room service.
The marble double-vanity bathroom is also a nice touch for a newly married couple.
There are 3 pools at the resort – the Altitude rooftop pool, the main infinity pool, and the Freestyle Pool.
The beach itself is technically at the neighboring Secrets St. James property, reached by a short skywalk.
And the beach has a section reserved exclusively for Breathless guests.
They’ve even got 3 hot tubs.

Things I love:
- Pool and beach waiter service.

- The contemporary art in the suites is impressive.
- The resort’s got a young, lively vibe.
Things I don’t love:
- A few of my couples are not a fan of the glass showers in the suites.
- Not located directly on the beach.
- Room service takes a while.
- Techno music played throughout the day might not be loved by everyone.
- Check-in takes a long time.
