• The couple and 80% of their guests must stay at the same resort where the wedding will be performed. Only 20% of the total group can stay at another hotel.

• IMPORTANT: Please consider that due to high demand wedding petitions made less than 30 days prior to the ceremony date are considered last minute and will be automatically rejected. No exceptions will be made.

• Wedding guests who are not staying at this resort must purchase a Day Pass plus ceremony & dinner costs. Please contact your Onsite Coordinator for current Day Pass costs.

• Couples have to arrive at least two (2) full business days for symbolic ceremony or Renewal of vows and three (3) full business days for a civil ceremony, prior the wedding date. Please note that arrival day, Weekends or National Holidays do not count as business days. Weddings and events are not performed on Sundays & National holidays.

• Confirmed weddings cancelled within a month of the ceremony date or upon arrival to the hotel will be charged a cancellation fee of $250.00 USD.

• Maximum capacity of the Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: 100 people.

• General Outside Vendors are allowed to work in Riu Resorts by paying a vendor's fee of $400.00 USD* per person. If the vendor is not Mexican, he/she must have a proper work Visa. Catering vendors, Makeup artist and Beauty Salon vendors are not allowed (Vendor fee does not apply).

• Items offered on wedding packages are not exchangeable or discounted if any of them are not used by the couple.

• Wedding couple that requires to change their type of ceremony need to notify at least one month prior the wedding date. All changes on dates and times are always subject to Minister's or Judge's availability.
