Want to get married on a mountaintop? By a waterfall? Or on a secluded beach with turquoise waters in the background? Saint Lucia is where it’s at.
This Caribbean island is straight-up stunning! And it has a little something for everyone, from luxury resorts tucked between the iconic Pitons, charming old churches, to private villas hidden in nature, and epic backdrops all around. All topped off with warm Lucian hospitality, of course.
The average cost of a wedding in Saint Lucia is around $3,500 to $7,000, but it really depends on your guest count and how extra you want to go. Larger or luxury events can range $8,500 to $20,000+, depending on your wedding resort, and extras like decor, catering upgrades or fireworks. Legal weddings here are pretty straightforward, and if you want a symbolic one? Even easier!
Planning a wedding in Saint Lucia is surprisingly simple. Our team can help.
December to April is the dry season (aka perfect wedding weather). May and June are warm and less crowded. We recommend avoiding peak hurricane months from August to October.
Most packages include the basics like ceremony setup, bouquet, cake, officiant, reception with catering, music, and a coordinator. Some even include a spa day or photographer.
The iconic Pitons, hidden waterfalls, rainforest venues, and warm local hospitality. It's romantic, offbeat, and totally unforgettable.
To be honest, Saint Lucia isn't considered an LGBTQ+ friendly destination. Same-sex marriage isn’t legally recognized, and symbolic ceremonies may not be welcomed openly across the island. While some international resorts may offer more inclusive services, we recommend checking directly with the property before planning. For a more supportive and celebratory experience, there are other Caribbean destinations that may be a better fit.
Passport, birth certificate, divorce decree or death certificate (if applicable), certified translations/apostilles, and two witnesses.
