Jeff and Lindsey’s love story began after matching on The League.
This led to an epic first date at an Adam Sandler show in Baltimore. As they waited at a hotel bar before the show, he surprised her by asking for a kiss. Lindsey, playing it cool, said no…at first! Thirty minutes later, Jeff asked again, and this time, the answer was a yes. Fast forward, and Adam Sandler played an unexpected role again! This time, in their engagement story! Jeff planned the perfect proposal, surprising Lindsey with tickets to another Sandler show, but not before cooking her favorite meal of seared scallops, broccolini, and wild mushrooms.
Just as she was about to dig in, Jeff got down on one knee and popped the question. Amid happy tears, Lindsey said yes. With friends and family scattered across the country and even abroad, choosing a destination wedding made perfect sense. And Mexico became the front-runner for its warm weather, easy accessibility, and stunning venues. When they visited Garza Blanca Cancun, recommended by Paradise Weddings, they immediately knew it was the one.
Surrounded by 80 of their closest friends and family, Jeff and Lindsey tied the knot on a breathtaking patio overlooking the ocean. After saying “I do” and exchanging rings, the newlyweds celebrated with a photo tour around the resort. They hit the beach, rooftop, hotel bar, and even the kids’ carousel for some fun snapshots! Heartfelt speeches, incredible food, and a packed dance floor made the night one for the books.
