Just like most modern day love stories, Lynsie and Chris met on a dating app. Since the two live in Texas, they went to a BBQ place for their first date.
Next thing you know, hours have gone by and the restaurant is closing–that’s how long they were talking! That first date turned into forever when Chris popped the question while vacationing in St. Lucia. It didn’t take the couple long to choose a destination wedding, and they landed on Secrets Playa Mujeres in Mexico.
“I loved the idea of having our wedding double as a vacation for our family and friends. We got to spend lots of quality time with them,” Lynsie tells us. Lynsie also loved that it took all the stress away knowing the resort had everything handled from the food to the wedding itself!
The big day finally came and was filled with timeless decor including neutral colours and stunning flowers. With the ceremony beautifully placed overlooking beach, Lynsie and Chris said ‘I do’ with their closest family and friends. By the end of the night, most of the wedding party jumped into the pool and hung out late into the night… with cocktails, of course.
