Sophie and Joonmo go way back, 8th grade, to be exact. They dated for one week, then things fizzled after a hilarious gift exchange - Joon gave Sophie a one-dollar bill for Christmas! Years later, life nudged them together again with a chance bump at a neighborhood café. And sparks flew all over again. They’ve been inseparable ever since.
On New Year’s Eve, Joon planned an unforgettable proposal. After church, he “needed” to swing by home for something. When they parked, he blindfolded Sophie and led her into the backyard. Their favorite song played, the decorations glowed, and when she lifted the blindfold she found “Marry Me” spelled out before her. It was a magical moment, she says she’ll cherish forever.
