Allinson and her fiancé John had a modern-day rom-com start to their relationship. “We met on Bumble, however, we later learned that we must have met at Starbucks because I was saved in John’s phone as ‘Allinson Starbucks’”, the bride admitted. Evidently, the date went well, and on their annual ski trip, John popped the question!

Allinson and John always knew they wanted a destination wedding, so after the proposal, they started narrowing down exactly where they wanted to get married, “We considered other countries, but ultimately, we decided on Mexico.” With most of their family being located in Miami, Mexico became the perfect choice.

The couple chose the luxurious Royalton Cancun resort for a multi-day celebration, and with the help of Paradise Wedding’s own wedding coordinator, Daniela, they turned it into a dream. While excited, the bride reveals she was nervous about all the details coming together, but her expectations were exceeded: "That morning I woke up at 4 am because I was so anxious, and I got to see the sunrise." Allinson calls that part of the day magical, which was also a beautiful start to a new beginning.
