From coworkers to soulmates! Anne and Mitch met in 2018 at work, both fresh out of college and starting in the same department. It took Mitch a while to build up the courage, but when he finally asked Anne out, there was no looking back! And in 2023, Mitch pulled off the perfect surprise at Anne’s alma mater, Virginia Tech. He told her they were heading to a basketball game, but in reality, there were no tickets-just a heartfelt proposal waiting for her. To make the moment even sweeter, both of their families came into town to celebrate!

When it came to choosing a wedding destination, Mexico was the obvious choice. A direct flight, stunning resorts, and reasonable prices for their guests...what’s not to love? And so, Paradisus Cancun became the setting for their perfect day.

Anne kicked off her wedding day with a beautiful moment - before the ceremony, she and Mitch had a private first look, where they exchanged personal vows. Then followed a breathtaking ceremony at a gazebo overlooking the ocean. They had some unexpected rain during cocktail hour. But as they say, rain on your wedding day is good luck! By the time the reception rolled around, the skies had cleared, and the party was on. The night ended in the best way possible because most of their guests (and the newlyweds!) jumped into the hotel pool!
